When MC beats him he transforms into a copy of MC, but it takes like a month or so. MC won’t kill him right there, because he wants to wait for the Sea Beast to complete the transformation to get even more rewards. So he just takes him with him and waits.
After the Invasion when MC kills the Sage of the Sea Clan and ends the global war and saves the City he recruits new people/beasts to the Misty Mountain by sending out 108 leaves of different elements. It’s like a game, whoever can find the leaves first can come back and become one of the 108 generals/soldiers and/or use it to comprehend the coresponding element. A Dream Beast (Unicorn or so) gets the first leaf and becomes the leader of the 108.
I am not sure if it is here or later, but he either takes this city under his controle or another. But later he has 3 cities with people belonging to him.
So basically next chapter is gonna be fire

why are they contantly yelling?
This is something that I hope the translator see, they don’t need to add exclamation marks after every sentence, it doesn’t make sense that they’re shouting all the time, it only make sense in battles, otherwise the translator needs to take note of the overall context of the conversation before deciding to add exclamation marks.
I hope translation team see this and decide to tone down on the exclamation marks…
